The study centre was established in 2003. The admission for the programmes offered at the centre takes place from April to ending July for July batch and from October to ending November for January batch. The following programmes are on offer at the centre.

A) PG Pragrammes.
Master’s in English, Economics, Education, Pol. Science, Public Administration, Rural Development, History, Sociology, M.Com & MTM, MSW, Commerce
B) UG Programmes
B.A, B.Sc, B.Com, BTS(Tourism studies) and BSW(Social work)
C) Diploma in
PGDRD, PGDHE, DTS, DRD, CIC, CTS, CRD
The study centre can be visited on Sundays from 10.00 Am to 3.00 Pm and on weekdays from 2.30 Pm to 4.30 Pm
On the superannuation of Prof. F M Shayiq, Prof G M Sajad took over as coordinator. This appointment is however subject to confirmation by IGNOU head office.
